The traditions that are brought by both the bride and the groom are something that every new couple must face. The mix of interracial marriages continue for the Asian American who is considered a second generation American as well. The traditional family in years past would not have blessed a marriage between two different cultures. The study has also shown that not all the marriages in the last few years have Asian American. Sometimes a United States raised Asian will marry within their own ethnic group or another Asian ethnic group. While they may have many similar traditions, strength of family being one instance, you may still find the need for Asian marriage counselling.
As you can see the Asian American marriage has not occurred for centuries and still sees many obstacles that may require Asian marriage counselling. The Asian American families will continue to grow and interracial marriages will flourish in our world. The need for Asian marriage counselling will be something that will have it's place in that world as well.
